Associate Director - Social
The Associate Director - Social at WPP Media will lead the development and execution of comprehensive social media strategies across multiple global markets. This role is integral to WPP Media's Global Operations Centre (GOC), collaborating with teams in the U.S., Europe, and Asia to deliver impactful social media initiatives. WPP Media is WPP's AI-driven media operating unit, uniting media, data, and partnerships to provide creative personalization at scale.
Key responsibilities include overseeing both paid and organic social media campaigns across platforms such as Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, Snapchat, X, Pinterest, YouTube, and emerging channels. The Associate Director will manage campaign setup, audience targeting, creative testing, optimization, and reporting, ensuring alignment with global brand objectives. Additionally, the role involves building strong partnerships with internal market teams, creative agencies, and platform representatives to maintain consistency and innovation in social media strategies.
Candidates should possess a minimum of 8 years of experience in digital marketing with a strong focus on paid social media. Proven expertise in managing multi-market social campaigns at scale and hands-on experience with platforms like Meta Business Suite, TikTok Ads Manager, and LinkedIn Campaign Manager are essential. Familiarity with tools such as HubSpot, 4C, Scibids, and Google Studio is advantageous. Strong analytical skills, a data-driven approach to decision-making, and exceptional communication abilities are also required.
