Associate
Keller Postman is seeking a dedicated Associate to join our team in Coral Gables, Florida. Our firm specializes in representing clients in class and mass actions, individual arbitrations, and multidistrict litigation, with a particular focus on large-scale arbitration proceedings. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced trial lawyers on high-impact cases that make a meaningful difference in clients’ lives.
As an Associate, you will be responsible for evaluating and developing claims on behalf of injured clients, including conducting factual and legal analyses. Your day-to-day tasks will include reviewing and synthesizing medical records, drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery requests, managing written discovery processes, and taking and defending depositions. Additionally, you will communicate directly with clients regarding case status and collaborate with co-counsel in multidistrict and coordinated proceedings.
The ideal candidate will possess a Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and hold an active U.S. bar license in good standing, with preference for Illinois, D.C., or Florida, depending on office location. A minimum of 3–5 years of experience in complex litigation is required, along with strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills. Excellent communication abilities and the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment are essential.
Preferred qualifications include experience in mass torts, product liability, or personal injury litigation, familiarity with multidistrict litigation (MDL) or class actions, and experience reviewing and analyzing medical records. Exposure to expert witness development and coordination is also advantageous.
