Associate, Litigation & Dispute Resolution, Sydney

Clifford Chance is seeking an Associate to join its Litigation & Dispute Resolution practice in Sydney. This role involves working within a leading team specializing in complex, multi-jurisdictional litigation, international arbitration, and regulatory investigations. The firm is recognized globally for its expertise in handling intricate corporate cases and offers a dynamic environment for professional growth.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a diverse range of dispute resolution matters, including anti-corruption, arbitration, banking litigation, fraud, class actions, insolvency and restructuring, and projects and construction disputes. Day-to-day tasks will involve advising financial institutions, banks, corporates, and insolvency practitioners, as well as collaborating with colleagues across multiple practice groups to deliver comprehensive legal solutions.

Applicants should possess a strong background in commercial litigation, with at least 4 years of post-qualification experience and Australian legal qualifications. Exposure to contentious regulatory matters, class actions, and investigations is highly desirable. The role requires excellent academic credentials, high-caliber legal skills, proven matter management capabilities, and a commitment to ongoing professional development. Additionally, candidates should demonstrate enthusiasm for business development and client relationship management, and a passion for mentoring junior team members.
