Internship Scheme - Shanghai Office
Clifford Chance's Shanghai office offers an internship program designed for law students aiming to gain practical experience in a leading international law firm. Interns will engage with various practice groups, working alongside experienced lawyers on real client projects, and will be integrated as valued team members. A mentor, typically an experienced lawyer one or two years ahead, will be assigned to each intern to assist with settling in and addressing any questions.
Interns will collaborate with all practice groups, contributing to real client projects and gaining exposure to diverse areas of law. The program emphasizes hands-on experience, allowing interns to develop practical skills and understand the workings of a global law firm. Internships typically last between 3 to 6 months, depending on individual performance and the firm's needs.
Candidates should have a consistently strong academic record and excellent English language skills, both written and spoken. Applicants should be studying for an LLB at a PRC or overseas university, with graduation expected in 2027, or be LLM students graduating in 2027 or 2028.
Clifford Chance is one of the largest international law firms, with over 30 offices worldwide. The firm offers a collaborative and inclusive environment, providing interns with opportunities to learn, thrive, and grow within a global team.
