New York Debt Finance Associate

Clifford Chance's New York office is seeking a Debt Finance Associate to join its esteemed Banking & Finance Group. This role offers the opportunity to work within a collaborative and inclusive environment, contributing to a team that provides comprehensive legal services across various sectors and jurisdictions.

The successful candidate will be responsible for advising clients on a range of debt finance transactions, with a particular emphasis on sponsor-side representation. Day-to-day tasks will include drafting and negotiating financing documents, conducting due diligence, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless transaction execution.

Applicants must hold a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited U.S. law school and demonstrate high academic achievement. Admission to the New York Bar is required, or the ability to waive in. Ideal candidates will have experience in sponsor-side representation and prior experience at a peer law firm. Strong interest in debt finance, an entrepreneurial mindset, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team are essential.

Clifford Chance US LLP offers a comprehensive benefits and compensation package. The salary range for this role is $260,000 to $435,000, commensurate with the candidate's qualifications and relevant experience.
