Audio-Visual Support Specialist
The Audio-Visual Support Specialist at Milbank LLP is an integral member of the Global Technology Services (GTS) Department, reporting directly to the Manager of AV & Telecom. This role is based at the firm's New York City office located at 55 Hudson Yards, with a work schedule from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM, five days a week. The specialist is expected to deliver exceptional client service by effectively communicating and collaborating with IT managers, colleagues, lawyers, and other business services teams.
Key responsibilities include setting up and supporting conference room technology for both scheduled and ad hoc audio and video meetings. The specialist will assist meeting participants in utilizing the firm's internal collaboration tools, such as Webex, audio conferencing, Cisco Jabber, and ClickShare. Additionally, the role involves performing system quality checks to promptly address any audio-visual issues prior to meetings and firm events, as well as troubleshooting, repairing, or escalating issues related to integrated AV systems. Supporting firm events by managing AV equipment setup and maintenance is also a critical aspect of the position.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills, patience, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication, customer service, problem-solving, follow-up, and organizational skills are essential. The role requires proficiency in VOIP system configuration and telephone installation, diagnosing and resolving end-user issues, and the ability to pull and run cabling for telephone systems. Experience working with and handling audio-visual equipment is necessary, along with the capability to lift or move equipment as needed.
Milbank LLP offers a competitive salary range of $65,000 to $80,000, based on experience.
