Autonomous Vehicle Operations Specialist II
As an Autonomous Vehicle (AV) Operations Specialist II at May Mobility, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our autonomous vehicle services. Reporting directly to the Site Operations Manager, you will collaborate closely with team members to deliver a positive experience for riders, Autonomous Vehicle Operators (AVOs), and customers. This position is integral to upholding May Mobility's commitment to safety and customer satisfaction.
Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring and supporting autonomous vehicles in real-time during operations, adhering to strict safety protocols, and tracking site performance metrics to drive continuous improvement. You will address technical issues promptly, coordinating with engineering teams to resolve challenges that may impact operations. Additionally, you will train and develop AVOs through team huddles, video reviews, and ride-alongs, ensuring consistent and high-quality service delivery.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical aptitude and the ability to learn new software and processes quickly. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential, along with a keen attention to detail and the capacity to make sound judgments in ambiguous situations. A minimum of three years of experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment, coupled with at least three years of supervisory or leadership experience, is required. A valid U.S. driver's license is also necessary for this role.
