Autonomous Vehicle Test Engineer

Applied Intuition is seeking an Autonomous Vehicle Test Engineer to join our Tokyo office. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the reliability and performance of our automotive products through comprehensive verification processes. Our Tokyo team, established in 2019, has rapidly grown and formed strategic relationships with major Japanese automotive OEMs. We are committed to accelerating the global adoption of safe, AI-driven machines.

As an Autonomous Vehicle Test Engineer, you will collaborate with system development teams to understand system requirements and define appropriate test cases for vehicle-in-the-loop and in-vehicle tests. You will design test cases and procedures to ensure comprehensive coverage, analyze test results to identify issues, and work with engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve problems. Additionally, you will organize and execute field testing and test track testing campaigns to evaluate system performance.

The ideal candidate will have proficiency in testing methodologies, tools, and processes related to systems in automotive, robotics, or IT. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills are essential, along with strong communication and collaboration abilities. A passion for bringing complex systems of software and hardware components to a production-ready state is crucial. Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience creating and executing test plans for software and hardware systems.
