May Mobility is seeking an Autonomy Engineer II specializing in simulation to join our team in Ann Arbor, Michigan. This role is integral to our mission of transforming urban transportation through autonomous technology, focusing on developing and enhancing simulation interfaces and tools that support the continuous advancement of our autonomous vehicle systems.

The Autonomy Engineer II will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing simulation interfaces and APIs to facilitate ongoing development of autonomous vehicle systems. Key responsibilities include collaborating with data team members and other stakeholders to identify, implement, and validate software that measures autonomous vehicle performance indicators, as well as designing and building systems to manage the simulation test portfolio and test results, improving simulation test discoverability and usefulness across the organization.

Candidates should possess a B.S. degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent field, along with a minimum of 2 years of industry experience. Proficiency in modern C++ (C++14/17/20), a strong working knowledge of design patterns, data structures, and algorithms, and experience in real-time simulation platform development and integration are essential. Familiarity with Linux environments is also required.
