Autonomy Engineer - Perception Optimization
May Mobility is seeking an experienced Autonomy Engineer specializing in Perception Optimization to join our dynamic team. As a leader in autonomous vehicle technology, we are dedicated to transforming urban mobility by deploying innovative autonomous shuttles that enhance community transit systems. In this position, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing perception algorithms and machine learning models to ensure seamless integration with vehicle hardware and software. Your day-to-day tasks will include collaborating with cross-functional teams to define software and system requirements, conducting rigorous testing and validation of perception algorithms in both simulated and real-world environments, and optimizing software performance using CUDA and GPU programming techniques.
The ideal candidate will possess a Master's or PhD degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, along with a minimum of three years of experience in senior engineering roles focused on GPU programming and optimization using CUDA or similar techniques. Proficiency in C++, Python, and software development in Linux environments is essential. Additionally, experience with real-time data processing, 3D computer vision, and point cloud processing will be highly beneficial.
We offer a competitive salary range of $175,000 to $215,000, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life, and disability plans.
