Battery Build Technician (Contract)

As a Battery Build Technician at Harbinger Motors Inc., you will be an integral part of the Battery Manufacturing team, contributing to the production of battery modules and packs for the Vehicle Build Program. This role offers the opportunity to engage in both prototype and production builds within a company dedicated to revolutionizing the commercial electric vehicle industry.

Your primary responsibilities will include assembling prototype battery modules and packs, developing comprehensive work instructions, and establishing quality control measures throughout the battery production process. Additionally, you will be tasked with setting up workstations to address safety and ergonomic considerations, collaborating closely with the Production and Design teams to identify and resolve throughput and quality issues, and training new Battery Production Associates.

The ideal candidate will possess experience in assembling complex components with precision, a high school diploma or equivalent, and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel for creating work instructions. Strong time management, organizational skills, and the ability to work various shifts are essential. Physical requirements include the capability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform tasks involving walking, standing, crouching, and reaching in various workspaces.

Compensation for this contract position ranges from $25 to $32 per hour, reflecting the candidate's experience and qualifications.
