Battery Team Lead

The Battery Team Lead will be responsible for directing daily activities within the battery production zone, ensuring that operational goals related to safety, quality, delivery, and cost (SQDC) are met. Key responsibilities include allocating resources effectively, mentoring team members to support their professional growth, monitoring performance against key metrics, and facilitating clear communication between the team and management. Additionally, the role involves conducting start-of-shift huddles, escalating issues as necessary, and maintaining high standards of 5S and safety within the battery area.
Candidates should possess a high school diploma or higher, with at least two years of experience in a relevant field, preferably within battery or EV production. Proven leadership or prior team lead/supervisory experience of at least one year is required. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are essential, along with expertise in two or more battery production zones, such as cell placement, module assembly, foaming, or pack assembly. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are also necessary for this role.
