Spring Health is seeking a Benefits and Leave Specialist to join our People Team. This full-time, remote position reports to the Senior Manager of Benefits and Wellness and plays a critical role in administering and ensuring compliance with our employee benefits, leave of absence programs, and accommodation requests. Occasional travel may be required for team or company events.

In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for employees, providing clear and empathetic guidance on various benefits, from family additions to retirement planning. You will collaborate with vendors, brokers, and internal teams to administer health, dental, vision, life, disability, retirement, and supplementary benefit programs, ensuring service quality and resolving issues. Additionally, you will manage enrollments, life events, and terminations, lead annual open enrollment communications, audit invoices, and maintain compliance with ERISA, ACA, and HIPAA regulations. You will also oversee the leave of absence process and partner with stakeholders to manage reasonable accommodations.

The ideal candidate has 3-8 years of experience in benefits administration or related HR operations, with prior experience administering reasonable accommodations. A strong understanding of US benefit plans, HR policies, and programs, along with knowledge of employment law and workplace compliance standards, is essential. Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to communicate policies clearly and empathetically to a diverse employee base are required. Proficiency in HRIS platforms and Google Workspace is also necessary.

Spring Health offers a competitive compensation package, with a target base salary range of $37.40 to $43.60 per hour.
