Spring Health is seeking a Senior Software Engineer I to join our Member Growth, Retention team. This role focuses on enhancing member engagement and retention through innovative technical solutions. As part of a dynamic and experimental growth pod, you will contribute to both frontend and backend systems, playing a pivotal role in shaping how members interact with and remain connected to our mental health services.

In this position, you will design and build scalable full-stack services using Ruby on Rails, React, and GraphQL. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will ship high-impact features aimed at improving member growth. Your responsibilities will include expanding and maintaining existing web and mobile applications, debugging and resolving issues efficiently, and providing technical leadership in architectural discussions, code reviews, and system planning. Additionally, you will advocate for high engineering standards, including test coverage, documentation, and observability, and participate in an on-call rotation to support system reliability.

The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in software development with a focus on full-stack development. Proficiency in Ruby on Rails, Typescript, or React is required, along with a proven ability to independently lead complex technical projects. Experience working in cross-functional Agile teams, strong problem-solving skills, and attention to detail are essential. Familiarity with observability and experimentation tools such as Datadog, LaunchDarkly, Sentry, Mixpanel, and Iterable is also desired.

The target base salary range for this position is $183,000 to $205,500, complemented by a competitive total rewards package that includes equity and benefits.
