Benefits Manager (Global)
The Benefits Manager (Global) at Banyan Software is a pivotal role responsible for establishing and managing a comprehensive global benefits function. This position involves direct oversight of benefits strategies for Banyan's headquarters and group programs, as well as coordination with Professional Employer Organizations (PEOs) and vendor partners across over 100 operating companies worldwide. The role reports to the General Counsel, ensuring that all programs are built on a solid foundation of governance, compliance, and risk management.
Key responsibilities include designing and executing benefits programs for employees in the U.S., Canada, Europe, Australia, India, and Pakistan. This encompasses health and welfare plans, retirement programs such as 401(k) in the U.S. and pensions elsewhere, and other employee benefits. The manager will oversee relationships with PEOs and vendors, ensuring program quality and a positive employee experience. Additionally, the role involves negotiating with brokers and consultants, leading a team of Benefits Coordinators, partnering with the global payroll team for seamless benefits delivery, and supporting M&A integration and due diligence processes.
Candidates should possess at least six years of experience in global benefits management, with a strong understanding of European market regulations. Experience with benefits administration in India and Pakistan is highly desirable. The role requires proven leadership in managing distributed teams, the ability to navigate ambiguity and rapid change, and strong collaboration skills to influence without direct authority.
Banyan Software offers a competitive base salary ranging from CAD $110,000 to $125,000, excluding annual bonuses and equity options. The company provides a dynamic work environment with opportunities for professional growth and development.
