Billing & Accounts Receivable Analyst
The Billing & Accounts Receivable Analyst at PitchBook Data plays a crucial role within the Finance team, which manages all financial operations including accounting, quote-to-cash, payroll, compliance, and budgeting. This position is integral to supporting the company's growth by providing actionable insights into its financial health.
Key responsibilities include reviewing contracts for revenue and billing compliance, creating invoice and revenue schedules for signed contracts, and collaborating with the sales team to address billing and customer setup inquiries. The analyst will also handle contract and billing updates, respond to customer and employee inquiries regarding billing and collections, and communicate remittance information to the outsourced cash application team. Additional duties involve contacting clients to resolve past-due invoices, submitting invoices in client accounts payable portals, supporting customer phone inquiries, compiling documentation for third-party collection submissions, ensuring billing and collection notes are up to date, maintaining clean master data through collaboration with corporate teams, assisting with month-end closing duties, and participating in various company initiatives and projects as requested.
Candidates should have at least 2 years of successful experience in an accounts receivable role, strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail, and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. The ability to work independently under tight deadlines in a dynamic environment is essential. Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, including in-depth knowledge of Outlook, Word, and Excel, is required, along with the ability to quickly learn new systems and software. The position offers a competitive annual base salary ranging from $70,000 to $80,000, with a target annual bonus percentage of 5%.
