Lucid Motors is seeking skilled and motivated Maintenance Technicians to join our Body in White (BIW) team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving highly automated production equipment critical to our Body in White conveyors, assembly, and robotics operations. You will work hands-on with advanced mechatronics, robotics, electrical systems, and conveyance equipment to ensure maximum equipment uptime, safety, and reliability.

Key responsibilities include performing Preventative Maintenance (PM) on all production and mechatronics equipment to ensure optimal performance and uptime. You will troubleshoot and repair production-down equipment quickly and efficiently, operate and repair every cell on a production line within Body in White, and perform corrective maintenance on multiple equipment types, including electrical systems (24 VDC to 480 VAC, 3-phase), mechanical and conveyance systems, hydraulics and pneumatics, PLC/network controls, and robotics systems. Additionally, you will conduct in-depth diagnostics, component replacements, and calibration on automation and mechanical systems, order necessary parts, supplies, and equipment through proper inventory/sourcing channels, document maintenance actions, and communicate equipment status with production, engineering, and leadership teams. Ensuring compliance with all safety standards by modeling safe work habits and maintaining a clean, organized work area is also essential.

The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment, or equivalent education/training. Strong ability to read and interpret mechanical assembly drawings, schematics, and precision measurements is required. Proficient troubleshooting skills across electrical/electronic systems, mechanical/machining systems, automation/PLC/robotics, and laser welding & dispense systems are essential. You should be able to analyze and troubleshoot equipment issues, determine root cause, and implement long-term solutions. Strong communication skills and the ability to work with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, highly automated environment are necessary. Additionally, you should be able to interpret mechanical drawings and electrical schematics, and have strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions.

Lucid offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k. The successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in Lucid’s equity program and/or a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing such programs. (Cash or equity incentive awards, if any, will depend on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and company performance.)
