Jr. Manufacturing Technician
The Jr. Manufacturing Technician at Lucid Motors plays a vital role in supporting daily operations, minimizing production downtime, and resolving technical issues related to torque systems in the production of the company's luxury electric vehicles. This position requires collaboration with various departments, including engineering, quality, and suppliers, to ensure efficient manufacturing processes. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential for establishing effective working relationships both within the company and externally.
Key responsibilities include providing technical support and guidance on fastening-related matters, troubleshooting basic issues related to fastening systems, and following standardized procedures to maintain quality control standards. The technician will perform line audits to ensure adherence to standards, support line calls related to torque systems, and conduct calibration for various torque systems. Additionally, the role involves assisting with process change implementations, setting up and maintaining torque equipment, and promoting a safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols and maintaining a clean work area.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED, basic math skills for measurements and calculations, and proficiency in English, both written and verbal. The role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to follow instructions, good physical stamina, and the capability to work in a fast-paced environment. Excellent teamwork and communication skills are also necessary. Preferred qualifications include a can-do attitude, a sense of urgency when responding to production line calls, computer skills (including experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint), the ability to follow and complete work instructions accurately, experience performing product and process audits, and the ability to work independently and troubleshoot technical issues.
