Service Technician, King of Prussia, PA
Lucid Motors is seeking a Service Technician for its King of Prussia, PA location. This role involves diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing Lucid's luxury electric vehicles, contributing to the company's mission of delivering exceptional customer experiences. As part of the service team, the technician will play a crucial role in ensuring vehicle performance and customer satisfaction.
Key responsibilities include confidently repairing both basic and major mechanical issues, performing electrical and mechanical diagnostics, and maintaining a high level of knowledge in high voltage (HV), low voltage (LV), and general electric vehicle systems. The technician will also be expected to follow correct repair order documentation procedures and effectively communicate with other service team members and customers. Additionally, the role may involve supporting the mobile service team as needed.
Candidates should have 2-5 years of experience as an automotive service technician, including previous experience with electric or hybrid vehicle diagnosis and repair. Knowledge of HV systems, LV systems, and electric vehicle powertrains is essential. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn proprietary DMS software. An EPA 609 Certification and a valid driver's license with no suspensions in the past year are also necessary.
Lucid Motors offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $31 to $43, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and a 401k plan. The successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in Lucid's equity program and/or a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing such programs.
