Sr Software Integration Engineer
Lucid Motors is seeking a Senior ADAS Software Integration Engineer to join our team in Newark, CA. This role focuses on integrating advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) into our luxury electric vehicles, ensuring they meet the highest standards of performance and safety. As part of our mission to redefine mobility, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team dedicated to innovation and excellence.
In this position, you will analyze and decompose system-level requirements into actionable software tasks, developing and maintaining integration pipelines for ADAS software. Your responsibilities include designing robust software architectures, implementing detailed state machine models for various ADAS features, and validating them through unit testing, software-in-the-loop (SIL), hardware-in-the-loop (HIL), and in-vehicle evaluations. Additionally, you will partner with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of ADAS features across the vehicle platform and maintain thorough documentation of software design and validation outcomes.
The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, with over six years of experience in software development and integration. Proficiency in C/C++ and modeling environments like MATLAB/Simulink is essential, along with familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated test frameworks. Strong debugging and problem-solving skills, especially in embedded systems and real-time applications, are crucial. Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment are also required.
Lucid Motors offers a competitive compensation package, with a base salary ranging from $158,400 to $217,800 annually. Additional benefits include medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, as well as vacation and a 401(k) plan. Eligible employees may also participate in our equity program and discretionary annual incentive program, subject to company performance.
