The Business Analyst, Operations Performance (Clinical Operations) at Spring Health plays a pivotal role in enhancing the efficiency and quality of the Clinical Operations department. This position is integral to the Operations Performance team within the broader Operations Intelligence function, focusing on developing and implementing quality measurement frameworks to ensure exceptional member experiences. In this role, the analyst is responsible for creating and maintaining scalable quality monitoring systems, including sampling strategies, QA rubrics, and calibration processes to ensure consistent scoring across teams. They will analyze quality data to identify variations, uncover root causes, and assess operational impacts, translating these insights into actionable recommendations for quality improvement initiatives. Collaboration with Clinical Operations leaders and frontline stakeholders is essential to design and evaluate training updates, workflow changes, and automation opportunities, measuring their effectiveness over time. Additionally, the analyst will establish feedback loops connecting quality insights to coaching, enablement, and knowledge management, while thoughtfully leveraging AI to enhance quality workflows.
Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or a related analytical field, with a master's degree considered a plus. A minimum of 2–4 years of experience in management consulting, operations analytics, quality/performance management, or process improvement is required, preferably within healthcare or member-facing operations. Proficiency in developing quality measurement systems, performance scorecards, and operational KPI frameworks is essential. Strong analytical skills with experience in data and visualization tools such as Looker, SQL, or Hex are necessary. The role demands excellent communication skills to translate complex analyses into actionable insights and the ability to collaborate effectively with leadership to address business challenges.
The position offers a competitive base salary ranging from $80,000 to $92,000, forming part of a comprehensive total rewards package that includes benefits.
