Business Analyst

Point72 is seeking a Business Analyst to join the Cubist Business Management team in Singapore. This team is responsible for onboarding new systematic equity and macro trading teams, deploying new trading strategies, and managing relationships with external counterparties. The role involves collaborating with various internal departments and external partners to ensure seamless integration and operation of trading strategies.

Key responsibilities include managing the complete project lifecycle for launching new portfolio management teams, designing research and trading solutions that adhere to firm standards, educating teams on Point72's operating procedures and technology integration, leading new strategy rollout projects with internal and external stakeholders, and providing day-to-day support for operational procedures such as broker data management, compliance monitoring, trading, and business continuity.

The ideal candidate will have a technical background with strong communication skills and a willingness to learn trading and finance operations. A bachelor's degree in finance, statistics, mathematics, engineering, or computer science is strongly preferred, along with at least two years of relevant work experience. Proficiency in Python and SQL is required, and experience with Linux/Unix scripting is a plus. Candidates should have the ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines, possess strong interpersonal and time management skills, and demonstrate a commitment to the highest ethical standards.
