Business Development Executive
As a Business Development Executive at PitchBook, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our client base and driving revenue growth. This position is integral to our Sales team, focusing on identifying and closing new business opportunities. In this role, you will be responsible for building and managing a robust sales pipeline, conducting product demonstrations, and effectively guiding potential clients through the sales cycle. Your day-to-day activities will include prospecting new business opportunities, collaborating with the Inside Sales team, and developing referral networks. Additionally, you will work closely with client development and account management teams to ensure successful client relationships.
The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree, preferably in economics, finance, or related fields, and have over three years of successful experience in outside sales and business development, particularly with technology products. Proficiency in managing opportunities using Salesforce or similar CRM systems is essential. Strong negotiation skills, a self-motivated and goal-oriented attitude, and exemplary verbal and written communication abilities are also required.
