As a Business Development Manager at Lighthouse, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our presence within the Australian market. Reporting to the Regional Sales Director, you will manage the full sales cycle, from initial prospecting to contract negotiations, acting as a consultant to clients and aligning their needs with Lighthouse's commercial objectives. This position is ideal for proactive individuals who enjoy building territories and providing valuable market feedback to our Product Development team.

Your primary responsibilities will include identifying and securing new client opportunities through cold calling, email campaigns, and networking within industry groups across Australia. You will manage the end-to-end sales process, respond to inbound inquiries, conduct product demonstrations, prepare tailored proposals, and negotiate contracts. Additionally, you will create and execute business development plans to meet sales targets, attend industry conferences, and organize regional roadshows to enhance Lighthouse's presence in the APAC region.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in business development, preferably within the hospitality tech or SaaS industries, with a strong track record of meeting sales targets. You should be skilled in lead generation, pipeline management, and delivering product presentations or webinars. Strong negotiation skills, fluency in English (additional Asian languages are a plus), and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment are essential. Familiarity with CRM tools like Salesforce and a keen interest in leveraging automation and AI to improve workflow efficiency are also desirable.
