Business Development Manager BI (Business Intelligence)
As a Business Development Manager for Business Intelligence at Lighthouse, you will lead the global expansion of Revenue Insight, our platform that transforms PMS data into actionable business intelligence for hoteliers. Reporting to the Regional Sales Director, you will leverage your revenue management expertise and proactive sales approach to develop go-to-market strategies within your region. This role involves managing the full sales cycle, collaborating with both local hotels and global chains to enhance their understanding of market segments, channels, and source markets.
Key responsibilities include identifying and securing new business opportunities through prospecting, industry networking, and targeted email campaigns. You will manage the end-to-end sales process, from responding to inquiries and delivering product demonstrations to preparing professional proposals and quotes. Additionally, you will develop and execute a business development plan to achieve sales targets, negotiate contracts that balance client value with commercial goals, and represent Lighthouse at international conferences and regional roadshows to build a strong sales pipeline. Collaborating with the Product Development team, you will provide direct market feedback to help shape the future of our BI tools and utilize AI-driven insights and CRM automation to improve forecast accuracy and overall sales efficiency.
The ideal candidate possesses extensive experience in revenue management with a strong understanding of various Hotel PMS and RMS software. Proven ability in business development, including planning, presenting, and closing deals with C-level stakeholders, is essential. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and negotiation abilities, and fluency in written and spoken English and at least one other Asian language are required. Adaptability, an entrepreneurial mindset, flexibility to travel and work across different time zones, and an interest in how automation and data-driven insights can optimize daily sales execution are also important.
