Business Development Manager - Indonesia (Bali or Jakarta based)
Lighthouse is seeking a Business Development Manager to spearhead its expansion in the Indonesian market, focusing on either Bali or Jakarta. This role involves managing the full sales cycle, from initial prospecting to contract negotiations, and acting as a consultant to clients to create proposals that align with their needs and Lighthouse's commercial objectives. The successful candidate will join a dynamic team dedicated to revolutionizing commercial strategies in the hospitality industry.
Key responsibilities include identifying and securing new client opportunities through cold calling, email campaigns, and networking within professional industry groups across Indonesia. The role also entails managing the end-to-end sales process, conducting product demonstrations, preparing tailored proposals, and executing business development plans to achieve sales targets. Additionally, the manager will act as a liaison between the Indonesian market and internal product teams by sharing client feedback to guide product updates.
The ideal candidate will have multiple years of experience in sales or business development, preferably within hospitality tech or SaaS, with a strong track record of meeting targets. Proficiency in lead generation, pipeline management, and delivering clear product presentations or webinars is essential. Strong negotiation skills, fluency in both English and Indonesian (Balinese is a plus), and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment are also required.
