The Business Development Manager – Software Sales at Twenty Twenty Consulting Ltd is a permanent position based in Bradford, UK, with potential for partial home-based work when not meeting clients. In this role, the manager will utilize consultative selling skills to arrange sales calls, conduct product demonstrations, and guide clients through the sales lifecycle, culminating in successful negotiations and implementations. Key responsibilities include following up on sales inquiries via email, telephone, web demos, and personal visits; developing new customers through individual account support to grow incremental revenue; generating new leads independently; collaborating with the management team to improve sales strategies and goals; and maintaining a computerized customer and prospect database (CRM). Additional duties involve monitoring and reporting on activities, attending training sessions, participating in monthly/quarterly sales meetings, representing the company at exhibitions, and achieving or exceeding agreed sales targets for new business.

The ideal candidate should have a strong proven history in business-to-business sales, with the ability to meet and exceed sales targets. Excellent negotiating and closing skills are essential, along with proficiency in office software packages such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. The candidate should possess excellent organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written, with great accuracy and attention to detail. A positive, can-do attitude, flexibility, and the ability to manage time efficiently are important. The role requires UK travel with overnight stays for exhibitions and customer visits. An interest and experience in e-commerce, internet, and web technologies are also desirable.

Compensation includes a basic salary ranging from £38,000 to £42,000, negotiable based on experience, with an uncapped on-target earnings (OTE) of £65,000 per annum. Additional benefits comprise a car allowance, company pension, group life insurance cover, laptop, and phone.
