Business Development Manager - Taiwan
As a Business Development Manager for Taiwan at Lighthouse, you will spearhead our expansion efforts by identifying and securing new business opportunities within the Taiwanese market. Reporting to the Regional Sales Director, you will manage the full sales cycle, from initial prospecting and cold calling to contract negotiations. This role is ideal for a proactive individual who enjoys building a territory and providing valuable feedback to our Product Development team.
Your primary responsibilities will include identifying and securing new client opportunities through cold calling, email campaigns, and networking within industry groups across Taiwan. You will manage the end-to-end sales process, focusing on outbound prospecting, conducting product demonstrations, and preparing tailored proposals. Additionally, you will create and execute a business development plan to meet sales targets and improve local processes, act as a liaison between the Taiwanese market and our internal Product teams by sharing client feedback, and find and close opportunities to upsell within our existing client base. Attending industry conferences and organizing regional roadshows to build our presence in the APAC region will also be part of your duties.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in SaaS sales or business development, ideally within the hospitality tech sector. A 'hunter' mentality with a strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets is essential. You should demonstrate drive, hunger, and proactivity, thriving in a fast-paced, challenging environment. Experience managing the full sales cycle, lead generation, pipeline management, and delivering clear product presentations or webinars is required. Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills, with the ability to balance client value and commercial goals, are crucial. Fluency in written and spoken English and Mandarin is necessary. An interest in how automation and generative AI can improve daily workflow, such as forecasting and deal execution, is also desirable.
