Business Development Rep Associate - Bilingual French
Square is seeking a dynamic and motivated Business Development Representative Associate, fluent in both French and English, to join our Sales Development team. This role focuses on identifying and engaging prospective merchants, introducing them to Square's comprehensive suite of financial services and commerce solutions. As the initial point of contact, you will play a pivotal role in expanding Square's presence in the European market.
In this position, you will manage a diverse pipeline of businesses, prioritizing outreach to accelerate sales cycles. Your day-to-day activities will include conducting outbound sales efforts such as cold calling, emailing, and leveraging social selling techniques to connect with decision-makers in new businesses. Collaborating closely with Account Executives, you will prospect and qualify new leads, consistently meeting and exceeding monthly key performance indicators and quotas.
The ideal candidate possesses previous experience in inbound or outbound sales or other customer-facing roles, preferably within the Food and Beverage or Retail industries. A proven track record of exceeding sales targets and promoting a diverse range of products is essential. Key attributes include tenacity, drive, and initiative to overcome objections, adaptability to a fast-paced environment, and enthusiasm for developing sales skills through cold calling. Proficiency in both French and English is required, along with knowledge of Salesforce.
