Business Development Representative
As a Business Development Representative at MariaDB, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company's growth by identifying and engaging potential clients. Your primary responsibilities will include qualifying leads and initiating contact with prospective customers through various outreach methods. You will identify high-potential businesses, develop territories via outbound prospecting, and follow up on inbound leads through phone, email, and social media. Collaborating closely with the Sales and Marketing teams, you will develop and lead campaigns from idea generation to qualified calls, schedule discovery meetings with prospective clients, and maintain accurate records of lead activities in Salesforce.
The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of B2B business development experience and a BA/BS degree. Outstanding communication and listening skills are essential, along with a self-starter attitude and a proven track record of meeting and exceeding goals. Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently or with coaching are important. A passion for cutting-edge technology and the aptitude to quickly learn new IT software products are also desired.

The anticipated national U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $52,500 - $70,000 USD, with actual salaries varying based on qualifications, location, and experience.
