Business Development Representative
MetTel is seeking a Business Development Representative to join our dynamic sales team in New York City. As a global communications solutions provider, MetTel offers a comprehensive suite of fully managed services focusing on secure connectivity, network, and mobility solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for initiating outbound calls and emails to potential enterprise prospects, effectively communicating MetTel's value proposition, and scheduling appointments to discuss our solutions. Your day-to-day activities will include conducting online research to refine lead contacts, re-engaging with prospects from previous sales demos, accurately entering information into Salesforce CRM, and meeting monthly performance targets and daily key performance indicators (KPIs).
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, demonstrating confidence and the ability to build rapport with prospects over the phone. A proven track record of success in a sales or customer service role is essential, along with a competitive, ambitious, and self-motivated attitude. Candidates should be receptive to feedback, coachable, and exhibit resilience and determination to overcome objections and achieve monthly productivity goals.
This position offers a base salary of up to $60,000 annually, with the potential for commission earnings leading to a total compensation package of up to $125,000, depending on performance. Compensation may vary based on work location and the candidate's experience and abilities.
