Buyer, Federal Technical Procurement/FAR & DFAR
Anduril Industries is seeking a motivated Buyer to join its Federal Procurement team in Costa Mesa, California. This role involves supporting procurement activities for key defense programs, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring timely delivery of critical materials and services. Key responsibilities include creating, issuing, and managing purchase orders to meet production and program needs. The Buyer will maintain relationships with suppliers, monitor their performance, and resolve issues related to quality, delivery, and pricing. Additionally, the role involves quickly addressing supply chain disruptions, tracking and expediting orders to meet deadlines, and collaborating with engineering, manufacturing, and program teams to align procurement with company goals.
Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in supply chain, engineering, business, or a related field, along with at least two years of supply chain experience, including technical procurement. Experience with aerospace or defense industry standards, ITAR compliance, and FAR/DFAR regulations is required. The ability to read technical drawings and blueprints is essential, and candidates must be willing to relocate to Costa Mesa, CA, if not already local.
The position offers a salary range of $98,000 to $130,000 USD annually, with highly competitive equity grants included in the compensation package.
