Buyer, Indirect (R&D/Soft Services Procurement)
Anduril Industries is seeking a highly motivated Buyer to join its Indirect Procurement team in Costa Mesa, California. This role involves supporting procurement activities for key programs, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring the timely delivery of critical materials and services. Key responsibilities include creating, issuing, and managing purchase orders to meet production and program needs. The Buyer will maintain relationships with suppliers, monitor their performance, and resolve issues related to quality, delivery, and pricing. Additionally, the role involves quickly addressing supply chain disruptions, monitoring and expediting orders to meet deadlines, collaborating with internal teams to align procurement with company goals, and maintaining accurate records to track procurement key performance indicators.
The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in supply chain, engineering, business, or a related field, along with at least two years of supply chain experience, including technical procurement. Proficiency in reading technical drawings and blueprints is essential. Strong organizational and time-management skills, excellent communication and negotiation abilities, proficiency in Excel, and experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle are preferred. An analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving skills is also desirable.
The salary range for this position is $98,000 to $130,000 per year.
