Category Manager (WM)

Wolt is seeking a Category Manager to join our Wolt Market team in Athens, Greece. This role involves full ownership of assigned category performance, including forecasting, monitoring, and reporting on business metrics. The Category Manager will be instrumental in defining and continuously updating Wolt Market’s assortment at the store level to meet customer needs and optimize order economics.

Key responsibilities include leading effective negotiations with suppliers to establish joint goals, improve cost structures, and sustainably grow the profit and loss statement. The role also involves influencing category design, contributing to new product groups, and enhancing the customer experience to drive growth. Additionally, the Category Manager will create business plans for new opportunities and develop and execute project plans for the launch of new features, incorporating merchandising and pricing strategies.

The ideal candidate will have at least three years of solid experience in category management, with a proven track record of delivering results. Experience in non-food categories is a strong plus. A background in online grocery, traditional grocery retail, or e-commerce, ideally in fast-paced or scaling environments, is preferred. Strong communication skills and experience negotiating with both internal and external stakeholders are essential. The candidate should possess excellent analytical skills and the ability to think both strategically and operationally, with strong attention to detail. Professional proficiency in English and Greek is required.
