Cell Therapy Account Specialist, Overlay (Contractor)
The Cell Therapy Account Specialist, Overlay (Contractor) at Legend Biotech is responsible for representing the company's cell therapy products, particularly Carvykti, to oncology customers within a designated geographic area. This role involves collaborating with other Carvykti representatives to coordinate activities and drive the adoption of Carvykti as the preferred CAR-T therapy for multiple myeloma among both community and institution-based oncology customers.
Key responsibilities include developing a comprehensive understanding of Legend and competitor products in the therapeutic area, navigating complex account environments, and understanding the needs of various stakeholders. The specialist will provide timely feedback from interactions with healthcare professionals, develop and implement account business plans, and work cooperatively with internal team members on cross-functional projects. Additionally, the role involves representing Legend at national and local symposiums and conventions, demonstrating leadership among peers, and adhering to company policies and regulatory guidelines.
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university and have a minimum of 3 years of oncology or specialty healthcare sales experience. A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales objectives in specialty markets is preferred. Experience in managing large community accounts, strategic planning, and problem-solving is essential. Previous sales experience in cell therapy or bone marrow transplant is a plus. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to build relationships and influence, and proficiency in Microsoft Office are also required. The role requires the ability to travel up to 50-60% of the time.
