Channel Sales Engineer
The Channel Sales Engineer at Cato Networks serves as a pivotal technical resource within the channel sales team, focusing on enabling and supporting partners in delivering Cato's innovative networking and security solutions. Cato Networks is a pioneer in converging enterprise networking and security into a unified cloud-based service, aiming to revolutionize the industry with its Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) platform.
In this role, the Channel Sales Engineer is responsible for providing technical validation of Cato Networks' solutions to prospective partners. This includes developing and delivering product demonstrations, presenting at field events such as conferences and seminars, and responding to functional and technical elements of RFIs and RFPs. Additionally, the role involves conveying customer requirements to the Product Management teams and traveling throughout the sales territory to engage with partners.
The ideal candidate possesses over four years of pre-sales or consulting experience working with network and/or cloud security products in customer-facing roles. A proven track record in software sales is essential, along with a comprehensive understanding of networking technologies, including LAN and WAN technologies, switching and routing, security (firewalls and filtering technologies), and cloud services. Strong presentation skills and written communication abilities are also required.
