Chief Legal Officer

GR8 Tech is seeking a Chief Legal Officer (CLO) to lead its legal and regulatory functions. The CLO will be a key member of the executive team, responsible for setting the strategic vision and building frameworks to support the company's growth and expansion. This role involves acting as the primary legal advisor to the board and representing GR8 Tech's legal interests at the group level.

The CLO will oversee corporate structure and M&A activities, including optimizing corporate structures for regulatory compliance and operational efficiency, leading due diligence, structuring, negotiation, and integration processes. Additionally, the role encompasses managing group-level legal entities and intercompany arrangements, as well as overseeing contract management, intellectual property protection, and providing legal support to commercial teams.

Key responsibilities also include owning the company's global licensing strategy, monitoring regulatory developments, leading relationships with regulators, and establishing comprehensive legal risk management frameworks. The CLO will drive compliance with AML, data protection, and responsible gambling regulations, and lead the adoption of legal technology to enhance operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have over 7 years of legal experience, including at least 2-3 years in a senior leadership role, with a background in iGaming, forex, fintech, or other high-risk industries. Experience with multi-jurisdictional licensing, regulatory engagement, contract management, corporate structuring, and M&A is essential. Fluency in English, a strong ownership mindset, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment are also required.
