Chief Product & Technology Officer - Host Hotel Systems
The Chief Product & Technology Officer (CPTO) at Host Hotel Systems, a subsidiary of Banyan Software, will lead the comprehensive product and technology strategy, overseeing product development, engineering, architecture, and security. This role is pivotal in modernizing the company's mission-critical retail platform, ensuring it remains reliable and scalable for thousands of daily users. The CPTO will collaborate closely with the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to enhance security measures and align technological advancements with business objectives.
Key responsibilities include defining and executing an integrated product, technology, and AI strategy, leading roadmap governance, and managing product rationalization and lifecycle. The CPTO will drive architectural consolidation across legacy and modern frameworks, establish AI and data foundations, and implement a modern Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with clear standards and automation. Additionally, the role involves strengthening data architecture, API governance, and designing AI-ready system components.
The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of progressive leadership experience in SaaS engineering and product management, including roles such as CPTO, CTO, or VP of Engineering. They should demonstrate success in modernizing legacy platforms into cloud-ready architectures at scale, possess deep expertise cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, and automated testing. A strong understanding of application and infrastructure security, vulnerability management, and compliance frameworks is essential. Experience in leading technical transformations in mission-critical software environments and defining AI/ML strategies is also required.
