CMC Project Management Intern

Legend Biotech is seeking a CMC Project Management Intern to join our Technical Development team in Somerset, NJ. This role offers exposure to process development, analytical development, manufacturing, and quality control within a biotech environment. The intern will collaborate closely with CMC project managers and technical leads to support program execution, timeline management, and cross-functional coordination across development and manufacturing activities.

Key responsibilities include supporting the planning and execution of CMC activities across cell therapy programs, such as process development, MSAT, analytical development, and manufacturing. The intern will assist in maintaining integrated CMC timelines, ensuring alignment across functional areas, and tracking key milestones and deliverables for development and GMP readiness. Additional duties involve coordinating and documenting cross-functional CMC meetings, supporting risk identification and tracking, and contributing to data organization and reporting.

Candidates must be currently enrolled in a U.S. college or university program in Chemistry, Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field. A basic understanding of laboratory procedures and scientific data handling is required, along with strong organizational and time management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is essential, and experience with MS Project, Smartsheet, or similar tools is a plus. A basic understanding of GMP principles and the CMC development lifecycle is preferred.
