Commercial Legal Counsel

Cato Networks is seeking an experienced Commercial Legal Counsel to join our dynamic legal team. This role is pivotal in supporting our business operations across the EMEA region, ensuring legal compliance and facilitating strategic initiatives. The successful candidate will work closely with various departments, including Sales, Product, Operations, Marketing, and HR, to provide comprehensive legal guidance.

Key responsibilities include drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of complex commercial agreements, such as sales contracts, licenses, consulting agreements, and partnership agreements. The role also involves advising on data privacy matters, monitoring relevant laws and regulations, and developing internal policies and standard templates to streamline business processes.

The ideal candidate will possess a law degree (Juris Doctor / LL.B or equivalent) and be admitted to at least one bar. A minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial law within global high-tech companies and private practice is required. Strong expertise in technology, data, telecommunications, and security industries is essential, along with proficiency in negotiating Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) agreements and software licenses with large enterprise customers and partners. Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is mandatory.
