Nelson Mullins is seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate to join its Fort Lauderdale office. This role offers a unique opportunity to be part of a dynamic team within an AmLaw100 firm, focusing on complex business cases and representing various corporate entities. The Fort Lauderdale office, established in 1987, is deeply rooted in the community and practices in areas such as healthcare, litigation, white-collar defense, and bankruptcy.

The associate will be responsible for handling all phases of commercial litigation, including drafting and arguing motions, conducting legal research, taking and defending depositions, and managing discovery processes. The role involves working closely with clients to develop case strategies and ensure successful outcomes.

Candidates should have 3 to 6 years of meaningful commercial litigation experience, with a preference for those experienced in insurance defense litigation, professional liability, D&O, and/or employment matters. Strong written and oral advocacy skills are essential, along with admission to the Florida Bar in good standing.
