Plug and Play Tech Center is seeking a Communications Associate (Social Media) to enhance our global social media presence and support select public relations initiatives. Reporting to the Communications & PR Lead, this role focuses on executing social media strategies, including the creation of short-form video content, and collaborates closely with global teams to ensure consistent and timely content across platforms. This position is ideal for individuals early in their communications or marketing careers who are organized, execution-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, global environment.

Key responsibilities include creating, scheduling, and publishing content across LinkedIn, Instagram, X (Twitter), and Facebook, with an emphasis on short-form and vertical video formats. The role involves capturing, editing, and publishing video content using existing templates and brand guidelines. Additionally, the Communications Associate will plan and coordinate the weekly social media agenda, highlighting events, programming, and key announcements, and assist in developing and maintaining the weekly content calendar in collaboration with the global marketing team.

The ideal candidate will have 1–3 years of experience in social media, communications, marketing, or a related field, along with a bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, or equivalent practical experience. Proficiency in creating and publishing content across major social media platforms, experience with short-form video content, strong organizational skills, and excellent written communication abilities are essential. Candidates should be based in Silicon Valley or able to commute to the Silicon Valley office regularly and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
