Compliance Analyst
The Compliance Analyst at EarnIn plays a pivotal role in ensuring the company's adherence to regulatory requirements and mitigating emerging risks. Key responsibilities include reviewing proposed changes or new products to identify potential compliance risks and their impact on existing policies and procedures. The analyst will provide recommendations to improve compliance processes and enhance the company's adaptability to regulatory changes. Additionally, the role involves monitoring the implementation of corrective actions, analyzing regulations applicable to EarnIn's products and services, and assisting in developing compliant processes and controls. The analyst will also administer compliance tools, execute projects as directed, monitor adherence to policies, and provide cross-functional support within the department.
Candidates should have at least one year of experience in compliance risk management within financial services, particularly in consumer deposits, payments, or lending. A strong knowledge of federal and state financial regulations related to consumer protection and financial products is essential. The role requires demonstrated knowledge of compliance risks, processes, and control frameworks, along with the ability to design and evaluate the effectiveness of controls within business processes. Experience with compliance systems, including configuration and troubleshooting, is also necessary. Clear and persuasive communication skills, attention to detail, and strong project management abilities are important. Relevant industry certifications, such as CRCM, are a plus.
