Mobile Engineer (iOS)
EarnIn is seeking an iOS Engineer to join our Growth Engineering Team, focusing on enhancing the financial empowerment of millions of users. This role involves developing polished mobile experiences and collaborating across engineering, product, and experimentation teams to improve key aspects of the member journey, including Discovery, Onboarding, Activation, and Retention. The position is based in Vancouver, Canada, with a hybrid work arrangement requiring two days per week in the office.
As an iOS Engineer at EarnIn, you will design and implement features that enhance how members interact with our platform. Your responsibilities include launching experiments to drive growth and engagement, collaborating with backend, design, and analytics teams to deliver end-to-end features, and writing clean, testable Swift code using modern iOS paradigms such as Swift Concurrency, Combine, and SwiftUI. Additionally, you will leverage AI-driven workflows to accelerate development and contribute to best practices within the team.
The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or possesses equivalent practical experience. You should have at least three years of professional mobile development experience, with a strong focus on iOS. Proficiency in Swift and modern iOS frameworks, along with an understanding of common iOS architectures like MVVM and MVP, is essential. Familiarity with end-to-end engineering practices, including code reviews, CI/CD, automated testing, and performance monitoring, is also required. A growth mindset and a willingness to learn and experiment are highly valued. Experience with Android or an interest in cross-platform development is considered a bonus.
EarnIn offers a competitive salary range of $169,830 to $207,570 CAD, plus equity and benefits.
