Compliance Counsel (1‑Year Contract)
The Compliance Counsel (1-Year Contract) at Bosch Group will join the Southeast Asia & Oceania Compliance team, collaborating closely with the Regional Head of Corporate Compliance based in Singapore. This role focuses on strengthening and supporting the compliance program of a German-based Global 500 organization, emphasizing anti-bribery and anti-corruption (ABAC) measures. Key responsibilities include providing clear, practical compliance guidance to management and employees, staying updated on relevant local laws and regulatory changes, implementing and localizing compliance policies, guidelines, and procedures, and liaising with government authorities and managing external legal counsel when necessary. The role also involves reviewing and enhancing the compliance management system to ensure full legal alignment, conducting internal investigations related to potential violations, monitoring and reviewing the effectiveness of the regional compliance program, and identifying, assessing, and mitigating compliance risks, particularly in the areas of anti-bribery and anti-corruption.
Candidates should possess a degree in Law, Accountancy, or related fields from a recognized university, with 4–8 years of experience in compliance, internal investigations, internal/legal audit, or governance roles within a multinational corporation or consulting firm. A strong knowledge of anti-bribery and anti-corruption laws is essential, and exposure to Australia or New Zealand regulations is considered a plus. Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, is required, along with demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and sound judgment. Strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving abilities are necessary, as well as the capacity to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across all organizational levels, are crucial. Candidates should be independent, self-driven, comfortable making decisions in challenging situations, and willing to travel when required.
