Composite Technician
Anduril Industries is seeking a Composite Technician to join our team in Morrisville, North Carolina. In this role, you will collaborate with design and integration teams to develop an unmanned turbofan-powered tactical aircraft. As a Composite Technician, you will be responsible for cutting, laying up, fabricating, curing, and assembling various composite products and assemblies, including bonded and mechanically fastened assemblies. You will exercise knowledge of the physical properties of materials such as thermosets, thermoplastics, and composites, as well as their forming and processing characteristics. Additionally, you will prepare parts for bagging, set up assemblies in processing and curing equipment, and operate oven controls to maintain proper temperature, pressure, and time cycles.
The ideal candidate must be a U.S. Person due to required access to export-controlled information and be eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Preferred qualifications include 1-3 years of composite fabrication or equivalent experience, experience collaborating cross-functionally, polished communication and presentation skills, a bias towards action, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
The salary range for this role is $60,000 to $78,000 per year.
