Configuration Manager

Anduril Industries is seeking an experienced Configuration Manager to lead configuration management and change control activities within its Costa Mesa, California location. This role involves collaborating closely with product and program teams to manage a dynamic design and engineering environment, ensuring product consistency and alignment with requirements throughout the product lifecycle.

Key responsibilities include defining configuration management plans for key programs, managing the end-to-end configuration control process—including engineering release and facilitating critical configuration control forums—and ensuring robust configuration identification processes and documentation. The Configuration Manager will also coordinate and lead configuration audits, such as functional and physical configuration audits, and work with Configuration Management Analysts to maintain configuration status accounting dashboards.

The ideal candidate will have over five years of direct product configuration management experience, particularly in high-rigor environments like aerospace or automotive industries. Familiarity with configuration management principles and practices, experience with product lifecycle management (PLM) tools, and strong organizational skills are essential. A bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline and the ability to obtain and hold a U.S. security clearance are also required.
