Consulting Associate/Risk, Multi-Disciplinary Investigations and Litigation Support (Risk, Investigations & Analytics practice)
Charles River Associates (CRA) is seeking a Consulting Associate to join its Risk, Investigations & Analytics Practice in New York, NY. This practice comprises professionals from government and industry who assist clients in managing legal, reputational, and commercial risks. In this role, the Consulting Associate will investigate and analyze financial and operational evidence, including both structured and unstructured data. Responsibilities include executing forensic accounting and economic procedures as part of large, multi-disciplinary investigations, utilizing statistical and econometric skills to interpret large datasets, and conducting industry, market, and competitor research. The associate will also support the creation and quality control of client deliverables, such as financial analyses and expert reports.
Candidates should possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in economics, accounting, or finance, along with 3-5 years of experience in accounting, finance, or economics. Audit experience or forensic and litigation consulting is preferred. A CPA designation or other relevant certifications are advantageous but not required. Strong analytical skills, experience with large datasets, and the ability to prioritize tasks under pressure are essential.
