Continuous Improvement Facilitator
The Continuous Improvement Facilitator at Legend Biotech US will be an integral part of the Technical Operations team, focusing on enhancing operational excellence within the cGMP Clinical and Commercial Cell Therapy Manufacturing plant in Raritan, New Jersey. This role is pivotal in driving continuous improvement initiatives that align with the company's objectives and operational priorities, ensuring the efficient production of life-saving therapies.
Key responsibilities include leading and supporting a variety of continuous improvement projects utilizing Lean and Six Sigma methodologies. The facilitator will design and implement data collection systems to monitor operational performance, facilitate Kaizen events and improvement workshops, and lead value stream mapping exercises to identify and address inefficiencies. Additionally, the role involves delivering training on Lean tools and techniques to foster a culture of continuous improvement across the organization.
Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as Engineering or Science, with a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt preferred. A minimum of two years' experience in continuous improvement or operational excellence within a manufacturing or regulated environment is required. Experience in GMP Manufacturing, Quality, or Supply Chain within the biotech or biopharma industry is essential, with a preference for those with cell or gene therapy cGMP manufacturing experience. Strong facilitation, communication, and team-building skills are crucial for engaging all levels of the organization.
