Data Center Technician II
Kaseya is seeking a Data Center Technician II to join our team in Pennsylvania. As a leading provider of IT infrastructure and security management solutions, Kaseya serves customers in over 20 countries, managing more than 15 million endpoints worldwide. This role is integral to our operations, focusing on the efficient transfer of client data to our local cloud and maintaining the operational integrity of our data center infrastructure.
The Data Center Technician II will manage customer order fulfillment, oversee inventory logistics, and perform repairs on data storage devices. Responsibilities include acting as the local point of contact between Kaseya and data center staff, running command line procedures to facilitate data transfer, conducting daily inspections of hardware, processing hard disk drive shipments, and coordinating the destruction of failed drives. Additionally, the technician will operate and install computing equipment related to infrastructure and applications, maintain inventory and labeling of equipment, and manage shipping, receiving, and distribution of hardware. The role also involves lifting equipment up to and over 50 pounds and participating in an on-call rotation to provide emergency response.
Candidates should possess strong written and verbal communication skills, advanced technical troubleshooting abilities, and a proactive attitude. A minimum of two years of experience managing logistical processes such as inventory or shipping/receiving is required. An associate or bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience is preferred. Experience with shipping logistics, previous data center operations, and technical certifications are also desired.
